Using this website

The Design-In Tools Store allows you to place a web order with Intel for available motherboard design and validation tools on Intel platforms. For the best experience, please view this website on Google Chrome, Firefox or the latest Internet Explorer on Windows or OSX. For I.E. 8,9,10 & 11 change compatibility settings to compatibility view mode turned off.

Login Access

To login and view the full catalog of products the Intel® Design-In Tools Store, you must have an Intel Business Login and CNDA in place with Intel. To register for an Intel® Design-In Tools Store login, please register in the following places:

  • • Go to the Resource and Design Center and apply for Privileged access. If your company does not already have a CNDA on file, then you will be required to sign and file the appropriate documents. You will be emailed with your Privileged confirmation. Completion of access can take 7-10 business days.
  • • After receiving your Privileged confirmation, go back to designintools.intel.com and log in. At this point you will have full access to the Intel® Design-In Tools Store
  • • If you need a tool immediately, or have further access issues, please contact us at (916) 356-3754 or email DesignInTools@intel.com

Buying Online

You will be provided an order number and receive an email confirmation, if your order has submitted successfully and at the time of shipping. Your shipping email confirmation includes your package tracking information. Products should ship within the timeframe indicated by the product availability, however please be aware that the Electronic Filing of Export Information (EEI) for international orders may add up to 5 business days. If you have questions about your order please check the “My Orders” link in the upper right hand corner.

All prices are in US dollars.

If you would like to pay with your Intel credit account, please use the Master Material (MM#) numbers listed for each product and go to the Intel Business Portal

Intel Internal customers should be aware that we assume you already have appropriate managerial approval order. Your cost center will be billed automatically at the end of the quarter in which the product is purchased.

Returns

We do our best to ensure your satisfaction with our products. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused product at your expense within 30 days of purchase for a full refund unless otherwise noted in the product description. Product must be received by Intel within 10 days after the end of the return period to obtain a full refund. To ensure proper credit, please:

  • • Ship from the original recipient,
  • • Include a copy of the packing list, and
  • • Describe the reason for the return on the packing list.

Returns are not available on certain products. If such restrictions apply, they will be noted in the product description.

Order Cancellations

Once the order is placed it transmits automatically to the distribution center. You will need to follow our returns procedure to receive proper credit for your order.

Credit Card Pre-Authorizations

At the time you complete the order, your credit card will be pre-authorized for the amount of purchase in US Dollars. You may be required to pay credit card processing fees on select items -- any charges will be noted on the initial order submission. This pre-authorization amount is converted to a charge when the order is shipped. You will only be charged for shipped items. For back-order and pre-order items, you will be charged a keep-alive fee of $1.00, exclusive of the order, every 30 days until the final date of shipment.

These are the top three reasons for credit card rejection and our recommended solution:

  1. 1. Network issue: please try submitting your order again.
  2. 2. Address mismatch: please let your bank know to pre-approve the transaction
  3. 3. Credit limit reached: please let your bank know to pre-approve the transaction or raise your limit

Wire Transfer

Wire Transfer orders are subject to approval and are only accepted on orders over $2500.00 US dollars. Refunds on Wire Transfer purchases are for store credit only.

Store Credit

Store credit expires one year after the grant date. Please contact Customer Service, if you have any questions.

If you have received product that is damaged in shipping, please email Customer Service or call 916-356-3754 during support through Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Pacific Time).
